The awards showcase the transformative impact of advanced technologies on productivity and efficiency, positioning the Lectra Stellar Awards as the ultimate race for operational excellence and sparking anticipation to fever pitch for being recognised amidst peers. MAS Intimates Slimline won the primary Best Cutting Room Award, with an impressive 87.89 percent overall achievement, underscoring their excellence in leveraging Lectra Auto Cutters. Their cutting room is equipped with two Lectra Auto Cutters and five Gerber Spreaders.
In addition, MAS Kreeda Shadeline was bestowed with the Most Improved Cutting Room Award. Since implementing its end-to-end automated cutting room solution in May 2022, they have recorded performance and productivity gains that exceed industry expectations. Their cutting room consists of three Lectra auto cutter solutions and eight Gerber spreaders. Other notable award category winners include Benji; Emjay International, Karandagolla; Ansell Textiles Lanka; Unichela, Panadura; MAS Intimates – Linea Clothing; GP Garments and Aqua Dynamics. The winners list also includes Crystal Martin Ceylon, Dambulla; Unichela – Slimtex Division; Alpha Apparels; and Omega Line, Vavuniya and Sandalankawa. The rigorous judging for the Lectra Stellar Awards consists of a data-driven evaluation process, which emphasises key performance metrics such as efficiency, uptime and cutting room performance, ensuring that most deserving cutting rooms are recognised for their operational excellence.
